Description/Responsibilities: This
exciting camp-centered outreach takes off
with an orientation in Calgary, Alberta, that will cover cross-cultural
values—and a bit of
Canadian culture as well, eh?
Next, you’ll
have two options: You'll travel to Loon
Lake, Saskatchewan, to recruit kids and
prepare for the Silver Birch Bible Camp. You’ll
participate in the camp program and do
follow-up in the surrounding community
for several days after camp ends...
...or, you'll head
to Pincher Creek,
Alberta, at the Gladstone Mountain Gathering
Grounds. Recruitment,
camp prep and ministry to Native campers
will fill the next few exciting weeks. After
follow-up activities (and maybe some
fun stuff, too!), your outreach will
wind down with a comprehensive team debrief.
