Missions Research, Reading & Helps
Research Starter Links The Latourette Library, of William Carey International University, provides an index of categories and related websites from A (Animism) to Z (Zoroastrianism), within the fields of missions and development. This tool is particularly useful for those exploring new cultures or who are new to researching online.
Missions and Development Weblinks Portal Search for a specific topic of interest or click on a category in the "popular categories" section on the right hand of the page. These links have been categorized so researchers get only relevant and useful results from their search. Numerous databases, such as MisLinks, the Network for Strategic Missions, and Phronema.org (a Christian Humanitarian Search Engine) are cataloged, linking the researcher to virtually unlimited online missions and development resources.
Open-Access Electronic Books More than 2000 open-access electronic books are available here. Visit the library's main page, scroll down to "Latourette Library's Catalog," under "Find Books." Click on the link, and type "open" in the location field. Search by author, title, or keyword.
Advancing Churches in Missions Commitment (ACMC) is a network of missions-active churches through which your church can receive practical assistance tailored to its unique global outreach needs. ACMC will help you build vision, mobilize your congregation, and become strategically involved in world evangelization.
The Finishers Project provides Christian adults with information, challenge and pathways for discovering and processing opportunities in missions — short-term or as a second career.
