Missionaries
serving with mission organizations like InterAct typically "raise
support" through deputized fundraising by presenting the
vision, nature and location of their future ministry to local
churches and friends. InterAct's board has determined a monthly
amount that the missionary needs to raise before coming to
the field and the missionary tries to secure commitments for
that amount.
Once they arrive on the field, the missionary family trusts
the Lord to provide for them each month through contributions
made by God's people.
The process of supporting a missionary is quite simple. In
order for you to receive a tax-deductible receipt for your
contributions, just follow the procedure below. (If you are

1. Please make your check or money
order payable to InterAct Ministries, not to the missionary.
2. On a separate sheet of paper, indicate:
- The name of the missionary
or project you wish to support,
- Whether this is a special gift or regular support.
3. Mail the check and the note either

You will receive a tax-deductible receipt and a self-addressed
envelope within two weeks.
The top of the receipt is for your
records and indicates the amount paid, the total for the
year, account numbers, etc.
The
bottom portion is to be mailed back to InterAct
with your next gift to ensure that your gift is credited
to the correct account. Make any necessary changes.
5. Carefully check your receipt
to make sure your gift was applied to the InterAct missionary
you designated. If there is any problem, contact the InterAct
finance department at (503) 668-5571 ext. 109 or by email
at finance@interactministries.org.
We will make sure that the missionary
receives the funds. We also provide our missionaries with
a financial statement each month giving the names and contributions
of each supporter.
